Guest guest
, I don't know if it's factual, but I believe my pain threshold went down when my hypo started. I have less pain tolerance now than before. Re your gums, if they bled as you indicated, I'm sure they're all swollen and tender. A good warm salt-water rinse or two or three tonight would help. Subject: Hypo and dentistsTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 26, 2010, 3:24 PM My mouth is hurting quite a bit now. I can feel how the gums between each tooth is super sensitive and it's very pinaful, all the time now, after I got home from the dentist. Never had this deeling before, so I guess it happens because I am hypo at the moment, and maybe because I am on HC too? Does HC make my mouth more sensitive? It's just funny how different my body reacts to things now, compared to before when I felt great! T.
Guest guest
Thanks, Sunshine! (Nice nick/name) I'll try that! And yes, I felt more pain before thyroid meds, and now while on little thyroid meds, than when I was on a full working dose in the middle!T. Guest guest
regarding pain threshholds dropping, I will totally vouch for that. As one who had 4 children naturally, without pain meds, I cannot tolerate pain today. Thus, I feel like I complain more now than then, because pain bothers me so much more now, being hypoT and hypoA.
