Guest guest
>My temps this morning at were 97.7. An hour after my first T3 dose and my temps are 98.2 but my feet are freezing, like I need more. It's like my body can't get enough in the morning but then in the afternoon I'm just perfect, temps are good and I feel very warm. I just think I am either top-loaded or just not on enough but don't know how to fix the situation or if I should add more to my afternoon. Sorry for so many questions but I have really been trying all kinds of combination, reductions and increases. I am just stumped and feel worse than I have in a long time. Timing makes a big difference. I do better in the mornings for a good bed time dose, my body is not craving that first dose of the morning. For me 6 times a day works well and I don't feel hypo between doses like that. Other people get away with less times a day, it's a case of try it and see. It id doesn't work then your levels sink again quickly back to where you are now. Monitor temperatures, if the new dose is too much for your adrenals then temperature will drop after you take it Nick
Guest guest
I feel the need for T3 every two hours in the morning...I take it and my temps go normal and then in two hours I feel the need for more. If I don't take it at exactly every two hours my temps will fall again like my body does not have enough. I've had a normal temp all morning long with my first two doses so I decided instead of taking my usual 12:30 dose I would wait. Temps at 12:30 were 98.7...within thirty minutes(checked my temps again at 1pm) my temps had fallen to 98.3 and I was freezing again. So now I have taken my normal 25mcg dose and I will wait to see what happens. Most likely I will warm up and my temps will get back to normal. This is how it always is in the mornings. Then my afternoons usually settle down. I know it is because I am AM loaded and then just the dose of 25 at bedtime is not enough to hold over until the AM when I have to start all over. So, should I just hold out for a couple of days with low temps and feeling cold to re-adjust my schedule? Or do I just add some more T3 to the after noon to get my T3 up a little more. My pulse has been fine. At times I think I feel my pulse/heart beating a little faster but it is usually in the afternoon which might be telling me I need more T3 at this time?? I just don't know. Very confused. Thanks,
Guest guest
, I have been following your postings as I am struggling with trying to get my dosing right. Lately, I have had a lot of hypo symptoms and was freezing again. Plus, some of the odd symptoms were back. I looked it up and it was the symptoms of low ferritin which was making me not tolerate my T3 and a I had only raised it 6 mcg. I think it is low ferritin again. I will know shortly when I get my labs in a week or so. But in the meantime, it helps to start supping iron again. Guest guest
Hi Deb, Yes I have been having a terrible time adjusting. Today I'm not sure what happened. I think that my shower was maybe too hot or something. I cannot take HC or Isocort anymore. I kept having problems and I tried all variations of meds to figure out the cause. So, I have been slowly weaned off HC since November. It's weird but yet I feel today may have been a low cortisol issue, temps also fell. I took some adrenal glandular extract that I happened to have and within an hour I was getting back to normal. I don't think it is a ferritin issue. I tested late December and my levels were at 133. I do need to retest everything right now, just to see where I really am with levels. With my FT3 being 7.0 in November I was feeling so much better but since my Dr. told me to bring it down I think I went too low. Last labs were FT3 of 5.5. Since I brought it down it's been terrible. I have worked back up to 100mcg again but I'm still struggling. I, like you have times when I'm freezing expecially my hands and feet but my temps will be normal. I don't get it...it's like a portion of the T3 is getting in but not all. I sure hope it's not the ferritin because I have not changed anything in that department. I guess we will both get some answers with re-testing. Keep me posted with your results and will do the same. That's why I keep reading every day also...keep thinking someone will have the same problems as myself just as you discovered with me. I l also have the horrible low back and joint pain that I used to have....it had improved so much. Just don't know.
