Guest guest
Marla, You don't say how long your daughter has been on the diet for but this could be die-off symptoms (supposed to occur around 2-4 months, 6-8 months and 10-12 months). With both my die-off periods at 3 and 6 months I had some intermittent stabbing pains and just generally felt completely drained. You may have some relief by putting her back on the intro diet for a few days and then re-introducing foods slowly. This is just a suggestion of what might be going on. I am sure other group members might be able to suggest other causes. I also have a toaster oven for re-heating small stuff. > > However, Elaine never banned the use of microwaves, feeling that it was better to eat micro-waved SCD food than to eat SAD which was prepared non-microwave. > > I'm not interested in arguing the pros and cons of microwaves. So for those of you who choose to use them, feel free. For those of you who choose not to use them, that's our personal choice. > > > — Marilyn > New Orleans, Louisiana, USA > Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 > Darn Good SCD Cook > No Human Children > Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund > > >
