No reason you can't increase with the pulse there if you feel you need it. Nick
Guest guest
Thanks, Nick. One more question: so at what range does pulse tell us we're on too much t3, or going too fast? Like above 90 pulse? or above 100 pulse? Like above 90 pulse? or above 100 pulse? Depends on your fitness. I wouldn't like to see it much over 90 and not over 100. If it is high it can be low sodium or adrenaline caused by low cortisol pushing it up, it's not necessarily too much T3. Nick
Guest guest
I'm interested in this too. My resting pulse is usually 96-100. I'm not very conditioned either, but I " ve been getting back to the gym a few times a week, not heavy workouts as I still suffer muscle weakness and pain. Is this too high a pulse? My RT3 is normal now, FT3 is 5.4. Current Cytomel dose 25mcg with 2 grains Erfa. Doctor wants me to down dose the Cytomel to 12.5 with the 2 grain Erfa, but I was wanting to go higher on T3 to see if muscle weakness and fatigue go away. So 96-100 resting pulse okay. I seem to recall it being that even when I was on lower doses, 1.5 grains of Armour only. > > > > >Thanks, Nick. Guest guest
Colkroke, my pulse used to be 60-70 until recently. I do not do any exercise of any sort, other than slow walks to my shopping center. And up and down the stairs to get into and out of my house. And the housekeeping such as laundering, cooking, sweeping, etc. No other physcial activity for me. I remember that a pulse of 60 (in a non-hypo patient) makes sense for someone who's fit and conditioned. It's " just ok " as you are very unfit Personally I feel so much better on T3 only that I would go down on the Erfa and up on the Cytomel and see what happens Nick
