Guest guest
Hello all, Am new this site as I only started looking into the possibility that my problems may stem from a RT3 problem. Basically I was diagnosed a year ago with sub clinical hypothyroid and adrenal fatigue and was subsequently put on NTH and HC....well as much as I have made some gains on this, I still find that I take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. I feel like I honestly wake up each day and wonder 'what day is it going to be today?'..a day where I feel like my heart is racing (even though I feel calm otherwise) or a day where I wake up with really tense neck muscles and a horrible pressure headache at the base of my head....or a day where I wake up feeling panicky for no reason....or a day where I just have 'anxious thoughts'....like I have done something horrible or would do something horrible....or a day where I feel I feel spacey and dizzy. Okkkkkkk, so you get my point!!!!! I can have a couple of days where I feel pretty good and I get excited that I have finally turned a corner...and then one of the above listed days will happen (or with a mix of those symptoms) and I get disheartened. And what gets me is that this is all while I have continued to increase and increase my NTH (up to 270mg at one stage) and increase my HC....so in the end I have now started to decrease both my NTH and HC.... Had bloods taken last week and these were the results... FT3 - 5.8 pmol/L (2.6 - 6.0) RT3 - 454 pmol/L (140 - 540) Ferritin - 24 ug/L (15 - 200) Sodium - 138 mmol/L (135 - 145) potassium - 3.8 mmol/L (3.5 - 5.5) cholesterol - 3.0 mmol/L (3.9 - 5.5) Triglycerides - 0.5 mmol/L (0.5 - 1.7) DHEA - 7.4 umol/L (2.0 - 11.0) I am on an iron supplement..oh and DHEA. Any thoughts on what is going on and what I need to do would be most appreciated. Promise any further posts will be short!!!!
