   I'm not sure if you know this, but inositol is not allowed on the SCD diet. 

The explanation is:

 

Inositol is a sugar alcohol. Sugar alcohols will feed bacteria and that is

something we do not want to do. Sugar alcohols generally cause diarrhea but

small amounts in supplements are ok - Elaine
