Guest guest
I have been on SCD for over a year now. I have never technically been diagnosed with anything but IBS. I always had a smelly gas problem that just never seems to go away. Lately, the gas has been so bad that it smells worse than a sewer. I don't know what to do anymore. If I eat, it gets worse, if I don't eat, it still gets worse. I am seeing a natural doctor. I don't know if my problem is SIBO or if the yeast is causing this smell. It seems that I make a mistake and feed the yeast, then they die, and something always causes the gas. Sometimes it escapes without me feeling anything. I am horrified. Should I go to the doctor and try antibiotics? It seems I've tried almost everything. Does yeast cause this bad of a smell? (And it's BAD) Or is it some nasty bacteria that needs an antibiotic to get rid of it? It's very depressing having all the doctors say there is nothing wrong with me.
