Guest guest Posted December 25, 2008 Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 I'm not Mara but I always make latkes just using a shredded vegetable (like zucchini, although this year my fave is spaghetti squash cooked and well-squeezed), mixed w. chopped onion or dehydrated onion bits, egg and salt. Fry well and drain on a paper towel. I think my family would eat dirt if I fried it and salted it! btw, if anyone out there keeps kosher, we have a Kosher SCD group at Yahoo groups.
