Guest guest
Dear Val or Nick, I am probably going to have a blood draw on Monday for ferritin levels. I am presently taking a supplement containing 0.1-0.2 mg of iron/day. Is this going to mess up my ferritin reading? MacGilchrist

I think it's to little to make any difference either to blood levels or test results. Hopefully Val can confirm. Nick

Guest guest
If it's a multi, they often put small amounts of stuff in there just to say "we've got this and that!" when they really don't. Marketing purposes. Hehe. For example.. A multi I have boosts an amazing 1 mg of Potassium. Not really what we need every day now is it. Â I agree this amount is ulikely to change serum results. Guest guest
Thanks! By the way, I saw in another of your e-mails that you were going to try and put together a way of diagnosing what's wrong from symptoms. Did you think of doing a flow chart type of thing? MacG.
