Guest guest
I am writing this email on behalf of Berrie (some of you know me, her little sister - hello to you all) because they moved house a week ago (all went well, they're very pleased) and they haven't got their pc up and running yet. To cut to the chase, was at the hospital school at St. 's, Chertsey, on Wednesday when he started to complain of headaches and got sick. He was admitted that afternoon and they did a brain scan on Thursday (was that really only yesterday?) which showed that the tumour was attacking the blood vessels and that he had had one or maybe two cerebral haemorrhages. Today they moved him to the Royal Marsden because they felt that he needed to be with the specialists to get the drug dosages sorted out quickly so that he could go home as soon as possible. He's on morphine now. They hope to bring him home (he loves his new " suite " in the new house!) early next week - the commmunity nurse and the marie curie nurse were assessing the house to see how it would work out today - as soon as the drugs are sorted. He is really very ill now - the medics are saying that really we're talking at most a very few weeks - he could have another cerebral haemorrhage at any time which could kill him. It's hard to know what to pray for. He seems to be moving away from us. They're all hanging in there but it's going to be pretty tough from now on. Please keep praying for and thinking of them all. I'm afraid I won't be able to update you for another week as we're off on holiday tomorrow but maybe Dad will when he goes back home. I promised Berrie I'd let all her friends know what was happening. Sorry to be writing this. Anneliese
