Colonics. Not for the faint hearted!

Colonics are super enemas, done by a licensed person. Always make sure they

use purified water. It doesn't hurt. You just lie down (only slightly

indignant) and water is moved in and out of your bowel, gently, and the gunk

comes out through a pump. People who do this are really into it, so the

pumps and tubes they use are clear. That is so you can see all the " shit " ,

literally, coming through. They ah and uh at everything coming out. You

feel cleaner, and definitely lighter. There is a rap about build-up of gunk

on the sides of your intestines, like tar-y stuff that comes with years of

bad eating. Technically, I've heard it's never been proven. MD's will tell

you that people who are autopsied don't have any gunk build-up. But if you

read a natural eater like Ehret Mucusless Diet, he'll have you squirming at

the thought of tary intestines inside of you and you'll run out for a series

of colonics.

I think they're nice; kind of like getting a facial. But not essential.

If you fast for extended periods they are necessary, because then toxins are

released into your system, and it's helps the body move the toxins out

faster. But I don't think fasting and AP go together.

Hope this wasn't too graphic a description.
