Guest guest
....Hi group ...just for the record, I've been vegetarian for over 7 years now. I don't eat any meat, fish or fowl, but I do eat dairy. I was diagnosed with RA just last June, so being vegetarian didn't prevent my RA. I suppose as a twist there is the possibility if I hadn't been vegetarian, I would have contacted it a lot sooner, but who really knows? I eat lots of fruit and vegetables and really everything else (keeping sugar very low), drink lots of water, no soda, only morning coffee) I LOVE being vegetarian (it's definitely a personal choice) and it's right for me, and I do seem to have a mild case of RA, never herxed, and haven't flared once since being on the minocycline, so again, there's the possiblity of the connection with no meat, etc. It's so unfortunate it's not a " black and white " thing....just trial and error. ....very interesting to hear everyone's feedback and experiences though. Good weekend to all, Judy (Keels)
