Doing GREAT on Minocin

Hello Group,

This group has been so helpful to me, and I do try to buzz through the

archives a couple of times per week, but I have not had time to participate

in discussions lately. Not too long ago, someone made the following

observation:

" In just a few days of reading the comments on this list, it's obvious that

a fair number of people are seeing no results or minimal results with

antibiotics. "

That is not true, and I think those of us who are doing well need to take

the time to pop in now and again to let the newcomers know that this

treatment does work. I am INCREDIBLY better after being on Minocin for only

ten months. I simply have not had the time to post lately because I am

feeling great, and I'm out living my life again. I do still have occasional

flares, but these are coming further and further apart and are milder each

time they occur. If I didn't have the memory of my pre-Minocin days, I

wouldn't know these brief " bad " times were indicative of a serious disease

like RA. A year ago, walking was difficult, my fingers were in agonizing

pain, my voice was so weak and hoarse that I often just didn't bother to

talk, I was tired and depressed. . .I could go on and on, but we've all been

there. I have my life back now, and I am grateful for the support this

group has given me.

Bye,

Kari
