Guest guest
-Same thing happened to me, Had not a clue that anything was wrong and wound up losing all my teeth. not until several years later did I find out I had Sjorgens Syndrome. Makes me a bit furious to think about it but I let go of negativity as much as possible. Carrying around negative thoughts ,feelings just worsens the codition and immune system plus people don't like being around others that bring them down. I just smile and go on the best I can. I am a song writer and cannot play my guitar..but its okay I can still write the music.........Skye-- In Rheumatoid Arthritis , " Nina " <ncampbell@t...> wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: > > > > I was also dx'd with Sjorgens Syndrome. I found out actually from my dentist as when I went in for a checkup he found cavities below my gumline. You couldn't even see them and they didn't hurt. He said I had bad dry mouth. > > I lost all my teeth when I was 37 and still the dentist did not even think about Sjogren's. You would think they would teach about it in dental school! I wasn't diagnosed until 9 years later. > > Nina

I went through the stages of grief when I was diagnosed with Sjogren's, PBC and Fibro at the same time (1999). However, since last summer when I became so ill with the Sjogren's and then got the RA diagnosis, I do find myself going through those same stages again. It's like I knew I was sick, but it slapped me in the face just to make sure I never forgot. Nina
