Can a person be taking in too much salt?

I would like to know if my salt intake is too high: I take 1/4 teaspoon about 5

times a day, in water. My bp is still on the low side around 106-109 over 65-69.

Should I increase my salt intake? Do I have to drink the 1/4 teaspoon salt at

once? Or is it ok if i pour it into my water bottle ans sip throughout the day?

(I fill up about 5 bottles of water in the morning and add 1/4 teaspoon salt to

each) Often I end up drinking 6 of such bottles (the poland stprings sports

bottles)
