Guest guest
I have a question about T3 increase... Yes, I am taking this slow as I had a ferritin level of " 25 " a month ago but I have been taking 189mg daily since... I went from 5mcg daily of T3 to 12.5mcg now- Day #2. My question is: How do you know when to increase the dose? Do I increase every 3 days (I am doing 2.5mcg increments)? Is that increasing the T3 by 2.5mcg at each time I take it during the day or picking one time out of the day and just increasing THAT dosage? Also, IF my ferritin is below '50', what should I be looking for if my body can't handle the increase in the T3? One more question: Which lab is the best to use to check Ferritin? Thanks!! Guest guest
You can try T3 increases every 3 days in those low amounts. BELIEVE me you wil knwo if it is more than your ferritin levels can tolerte by ANXIETY and feeling worse, if oyu go too high too fast. Any lab is fine but it si Serum Ferritin you need to test and make certian you stop iron supps 5 days before retesting to get accurate result.s -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Increase by a total of 2.5 in the day, not 2.5 at every dose Nick
Guest guest
Ok. How will I know the anxiety is from taking too much T3 and not having enough cortisol? I already get anxiety when it is about time to take my Isocort. Is it 'ok' to supplement Isocort with 's Adrenal Rebuilder as well?? > > You can try T3 increases every 3 days in those low amounts.
