Guest guest
I am very new to this forum and looking for some good advice! I was just diagnosed hypo and had all my labs done. I have high RT3 ratio and AF. Should I start HC 2-3 weeks prior to T3, as per STTM book? OR, start HC and T3 together? Been feeling @#$@# crappy....why?! Also major brain fog. In the past, have tried to add dessicated adrenals (didn't know I was hypo-T), when I did, a few days later, I experienced major anxiety and 'roid rage' and thought that I had too much adrenal. My ND said that my liver was not processing out the adrenals but now I think, and need help deciding, that all I needed was some T3 to increase T3. Is this what other Reverse T3 and AF people experience when they need to increase their T3? I really need help, PLEASE Thanks! Kim

If you've not already looked round here this is a good place to start www.thyroid-rt3.com > >I was just diagnosed hypo and had all my labs done. I have high RT3 ratio and AF. The recommended process is to start graphing daily average temperatures as per the instructions on the web site. The stability of these from day to day indicates the state of your adrenals. If they are unstable then start increasing the HC while monitoring temperature until they stabilise and only then start T3 You also need to get Ferritin checked, if it's not between 70 and 90 you will probably not be able to tolerate enough T3. It can take a LOT of iron to bring that up high enough, If you post your recent labs here someone will have a look at them for you and make some suggestions Nick
