funky feeling in throat since starting HC

Hi there.

I hope folks are taking good care amidst it all!

Quick hx: I started HC after not tolerating T3 only therapy (we think I have

some hormone resistance), Rt3/t3 ratio: 11 and low cortisol labs. Am on 1/2

grain NT and 25mcg T3 and started HC on 10 January - 27.5mg in five doses (every

three hours and bed).

Since around Christmas I've felt like I have a scratchy throat that won't

resolve. And above and beyond that, now I feel a sort of pressure or almost like

there is a little something caught in my throat at the thyroid - just below

adam's apple. This has started since being on HC - at least I think. Or, could

it be because of the T3? Or the HC is allowing more T3 in and something is

happening!?!?!!!

Any thoughts about what this is telling me? I KNOW it's telling me something!

I'm having trouble stabilizing on HC - my temp has DEFINITELY gone up, so some

T3 is getting in there - 98.7 at noon today, but it can drop some, which it did

when I forgot a dose of HC yesterday. My sxs (diminished consciousness and

fatigue) got somewhat better when I started HC, but are not good again.

Anyway, just giving you a context. I also am the one who had 6 ferritin, did IV

iron, got up to 180, now dropped down to 56 again. Starting to supp 200mg a day

with solgar's gentle iron after reading birrdy's good results. (Constipation

has started, but I was constipated before.)

Thanks much!!!!

~ Carol
