AmyA, I am glad you got the rings ordered and at a good price too!! The point that the rings were not "hidden away" shouldn't of really mattered....they were there to do a job not steal things! It is a shame. I know you will be thrilled to get your new rings, I am glad it worked out by waiting. Hope you hear some news on the move today. oh, yeah!! more good news!! I completely forgot to post about this!! My rings were ordered yesterday. They started some million dollar sale yesterday so between that and some other discounts we'll be getting almost half off of the original price (the reason we waited so long). The salesperson call yesterday to make sure we still wanted it ordered and we'll go in Saturday to pay for them. Hopefully then she'll be able to tell us how long it should take for them to come in. We don't know yet if the army is going to reimburse us for them. We've been told by two different people in the claims office that they probably won't bc they shouldn't have been anywhere that they could have been found. IMO, it shouldn't matter if I dangled them in front of their faces.. they shouldn't have been stolen. But I won't get into that. What was I supposed to do, anyway? Put them in my car? These people were all through my house!! Okay... Sorry, had to get that out. Anyway... we don't know if we'll be reimbursed or not, we have to call on the 26th to see if they've finished our claims. But, they're my wedding rings so of course we're going to replace them even if the army doesn't give us the money for it. Anyway... just wanted to share. I think she said when we talked to her originally that it takes 2-5 weeks so I should have them by Thanksgiving at least!! I can't wait to start wearing them again!! Glad to hear you got the rings ordered. I think it is unbelievable

that you might not get reimbursed, but I agree, I would get them anyway.

There is no way I would go w/out my wedding ring.

Hope 's arm is completely healed and you are not too uncomfortable.
