Does anyone know if Echinacea is safe to take if BF ? Both myself and

have a stinking cold/cough/sore throat/etc. I bought some

echinacea and rosehip tablets to try to alleviate some of my suffering.

Took two tablets last night, then was speaking to someone who mentioned

that they thought it was unsafe if BF.

The box does have a warning to consult with GP before taking if

pregnant, and also seems to suggest it's not suitable for under 7s, but

does not mention BF (they rarely do though, do they?). I haven't taken

any since - does anyone know if it's safe or not ?

I've seen things which say specifically that it isn't. It is

something I'd like to try but I'm not going to till my breastfeeding

career is over.
