Guest guest
Val & Nick, I am having brain fog after a week on 10 mcg of Cytomel. I take it mornig and at bedtime. I feel tired in the day. Today when shopping I noticed that my eyes are sensitive to the light again. I also have noticed I am not as anxious taking T3, but a bit on the sad side, but not depressed. I am unable to take a late morning and midafternoon dose. I haven't tried 4 p.m. My test show almost mid range in morning and noon at bottom and evening at bottom and night high. What is the best way to adjust this or do you think I shouldn't go any higher with not taking HC? I was told that because I don't have symptoms of Adolsterone besides leg pains and fatigue that hes not concerned with it. I am taking Adrenal Rebuilder only. This has made me feel better than without it. I have tried cutting down on this and felt really bad brain fog. My Cortisol readings were: Morning-5.6 Range (3.7-9.5) Noon- 1.5 Range (1.2-3.0) Evening-0.6 Range (0.6-1.9 Bedtime-1.5 Range (1.5) Aldosterone of 2 Sodium 139 Range 135-146 Potassium 5.0 Range 3.5-5.3 Would appreciate your feedback. Do I stop the T3 as being not enough Cortisol to compensate for T3? I am unable to read things without total distraction and brain fog. I have to read them a bunch of times. I am in school and this is very frustrating. I didn't have to do this before adding the T3. My memory wasn't sharp but better than now. Thanks, Rhonda
Guest guest
Thank you Val. I will try and see if he will at least give me a trial of it. I have a feeling I won't get too far on T3 without doing something. I am tolerating 7.5 in morning and 7.5 at night. I am very sleepy around 7-10 p.m and that is when I have classes. Ugh Rhonda Re: Brain Fog Aldosterone of 2Sodium 139 Range 135-146Potassium 5.0 Range 3.5-5.3Sorry but you DO have sympotms of low aldosterone. Your potassium and sodium are VERY unbalanced. Are you taking sea salt? Licorice root might help as well. You may need as much as 3 teaspoons a day of sea salt but wiht aldosterone this low oyu may get fluid retention wiht trying to adjust it this way. I would also avoid potassium rich foods if oyu are going to try to go this without Florinef. THIS is why you cannto tolerate enough T3 to feel better.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WVhttp://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Do you have low BP? Heat intolerance and sweat easily? High pulse? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I am cold a lot. I get crabby when I do get hot. I think I am on the low bp side and I am not sure of pulse. I have a bp like 100-120 over 70; I think that was the last reading at dr office. How do u do the pulse again? So many beats per minute X ? I do have dark circles under my eyes had this right around all my troubles in my 2Os when I began to get panic attacks and started feeling depressed. Came at the time - was going to college. I thought the dark circles were from flying as I worked on planes; shitty air. allergies. I don't think I sweat that easy. I crave chocolate, but sea salt water does taste good! I do have some dizziness on rising fast, but I don't think it is bothersome. I regain balance quickly. - Re: Brain Fog Sent: Feb 1, 2010 12:56 PM Do you have low BP?
