Guest guest
Whew!! So glad you finally posted!! Jo-Ann told me today that she left a message for you... I was hoping you would find some way to get in touch with her or the group to let us know you were still doing well. You sound so busy... Hope to hear from you again soon!!! Amy 19w 6d (56 minutes until I can change it to 20 weeks--half way there... woo hoo!!!) update Hi all. Everything is fine. I just got back this evening from my first appointment with my regular ob/gyn. I haven't seen him in a while and we discussed everything from taking a baby aspirin a day (I had severe pre-eclampsia) to which hospital I'd like to deliver in. I also had another u/s that he did and I saw the little one moving around. (I think he/she dislikes the probe as much as I do.) Well, that's about it. The puppy (Chewie) keeps me as busy as if I had a newborn here. He has to be constantly watched so that means no computer time or time to myself. I get more done at work but I don't have access to the internet there (I do but they frown upon personal usage-just strictly research purposes) so you'll just have to bear with my infrequent postings. I appreciate everyone's concern. It really means a lot to me that there are friends out there that are thinking of me. I do think about everyone on the group but just don't post. Forgive me? I'll tell you what. If something negative happens, I swear I will let you know so if you don't hear from me in a while, it just means Chewie is running me ragged along with my soon-to-be four-year-old. I hope everyone has a great evening and be safe! Take care,

Guest guest
! It's good to hear from you and that the baby is just fine! Hopefully Chewie will settle down a bit and give you a little more free time (what's that?) Otherwise just take care of yourself and your family and post when you can! Guest guest
Lorna, Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Wow! You sound very overwhelmed. I can only imagine. I hope your pregnancy is going well, though. Do you have any names picked out? Are you pretty excited to be having a girl? I have two girls, and maybe someday I'll have a boy. Not anytime soon, though! Joy http://community.webtv.net/joybelle15/ROSESCLUBFOOTPAGE

Guest guest
Amy, I bet we can all give you some great book recommendations. I don't envy you your next several months, at all! But the rewards are so great, it does make it more endurable. Do they let you get any exercise at all? I've never been through this, but just thinking about all those muscle groups--there ought to be a PT component of the bed rest that will teach you lots of great exercises to keep muscle tone. Does " bed rest " mean staying there all the time, or just lots of the time? Can you for instance get to a swimming pool, spend a half-hour gently exercising there? I know with my last (ok, he's about to turn 18), who was a 10lb. 6 oz. whale, that was the ONLY place I felt human. Guest guest
Amy, As Donna said, we are all here praying for you and will be here to listen. The reward will be the greatest when your little one is born. My prayers are with you. Please keep us informed. Debbie R.
Guest guest
Bed rest means laying on my side all the time. No exercise. I can however lay on my side and do little things - I'll ask my nurse if I can keep up with moving around. They are trying to keep gravity at bay if you know what I mean Amy update > > I have been officially deemed for bed rest.
