Guest guest
I do not think FT3 includes Rt3 but total T3 does. BUT as you correct cortiso and low ferritin that high FT3 should fall as the body becomes able to use it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Yes ONE person actuall y had improvement while on Iodine. I think it depends on the extent and CAUSE of the Rt3 problem,. If oyu are sensitive liek I am Iodine stimulates the thyroid to produce T4 which immediately becomes RT3. Also by stimulating my thyroid it causes my antibodies to skyrocket. WHne I tried iodine a coupke years ago I had the highest antibodies in my life, over 600 and now they are back to undetectabel where I want them. So whiel it may be great for some for others it is poison. I cannto recommend it due to that and the fact we have NO accurate way to knwo who wil and who will not benefit from it. AAnd also due ot my own experience I can tell you it is NOT needed to heal adrenald nor to get unhypo so why risk it? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
i guess i wanted to use it (iodine entire protocol) to maybe get at the root of part of the autoimmune issue and perhaps give her an opportunity to stop that progression..in her case her antibodies got lower on it..and her RT3 was high before starting it so that was not cause ..thiinking maybe her low ferritin and B12 and undiagnosed hypo were the original cause of RT3 ..that is what i am hoping anyway!Subject: Re: rt3 numbersTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, February 9, 2010, 7:57 AM Yes ONE person actuall y had improvement while on Iodine. Guest guest
Low ferritinis definitly one HUGE cause of Rt3 issues so it may be that iodine works for her. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
