Guest guest
If it were me I 2ould retest Ferritin and RT3. That ferritin cam eup rather quickly in fact too quickly to be realistic. Were you taking iron at the time of the 127 test result or did oyu stop it 5 days before testing? At any rate I suspect both may be off again. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val when I first found out how low my ferritin was in June (45), I began taking 3 Feosol Iron tablets every day for 5 months (from June - Nov) why do you consider the ferritin going up 127 to be unrealistic?? By the time I took the Nov test I stopped taking all meds (thyroid included) for the day of the test because that is what I'd read on the NT list, I don't remember ever reading anything about not taking iron for 5 days prior to a test. Either way I'm seeing my doc next week because after getting on HC and being able to raise Naturethroid, I felt great for a little while then temps went down again and some symptoms returned. This happened after going up to 3 1/2 gr. and 4 gr. I'm still having low temps consistently, some hair falling out, weight gain and water retention. I went to s temperature syndrome page last night and ordered Dr. s doctors manual for my doc, don't think he has done T3 therapy before. There seems to be a difference in what you guys say and he says regarding how to take T3. He seems to think 12 hour sustained release T3 s/b taken twice a day and you guys seem to use Cytomel several times a day (do I have this right)? What's the difference between taking short acting and sustained released?? I need to get prepared for my doc appointment.thanks,Kem<<Posted by: " " artisticgroomer@... valharlyTue Feb 9, 2010 3:12 am (PST)If it were me I 2ould retest Ferritin and RT3.
