Guest guest
From what I have read, Insulin resistance and thyroid resistance DO go hand in hand but I have not found the definitive link. BTW Insulin resistance IS Diabetes, just early stages before diagnosis. DO not take this lightly, when it is still JUST insulin resistance Diabetes MAY be prevented but not wihtout intervention. Diet changes and supplements to improve this are ESSENTIAL. Gettting the hormones right is also essential. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Thank you Val I have bought a book called the Insulin Resistance diet in which the authors recommend eating small amounts of carbs and protein every 2-3 hours - do you agree with this plan for reversing Insulin resistance? Thanks Chris > > From what I have read, Insulin resistance and thyroid resistance DO go > hand in hand but I have not found the definitive link. Guest guest
Val how does cynomel impact insulin/blood sugars? I never knew I had an issue, till I bought a glucose tester, and started testing. I was just put on metformin, which I have another ?, how far apart if any should I separate cynomel and metformin? Pharmacist wasn't concerned with separating. Also my cortisol runs high, always. Does cynomel effect cortisol? I think u said it can actually lower cortisol? I hope so,because this sucks! No sleep for 2 and a half yrs now, although cynomel has helped somewhat. Deb --aliano
