Thanks for replying. Lugol's has iodine and potassium iodide. The objective of the protocol is to restore the body's iodine levels not necessarily to sort out one particular problem (i.e. FBD).. I got rid of many symptoms of FBD with a very small dose in a very short time (3 weeks!). However, I still see residual lump tissue when I have a scan and I think it is going to take a big dose for a long time to see that off from what I hear from other people. My objective is to have two scans with no suspect tissue except scars. Then I shall see.

, my doc gave me potassium iodide for cystic mastitis. I took seven drops for over a year and no more lumps!
