Send a copy of whatever you write to Sheila in the UK, she has posted

on here a couple of times that she is looking for example cases where

T4 didn't work for a campain she is running.

I can only encourage you...as I just dont have the nerve. I have been haunted by the reality of my poor and harmful treatment by so many Drs. that I fantasize about the letters and the reaction. Ultimatly, I don't think these Drs. would even wince. They have elevated themselves so far above us (in their minds), that it I believe wouldn't faze them.But....Please do!! Leisa

Ever since I found STTM, got some new labs done, then found this group and *started feeling better*, I've wanted to write my old mainstream PPO doctor and give him a piece of my mind. He kept me sick on Synthroid for 12 years. I was hypo during 2 pregnancies and one of my dtrs. has a neurologic disorder that I know (even if I could never prove it) is related to my being hypo while pregnant. I was laid off twice, which was definitely related to me not feeling well. I even married the wrong man because I was hypo and two better catches let me go. Who would want to marry someone who is always tired by 9:00PM, mildly depressed and has PMS ;-)!I feel like I have an ethical duty to tell him that he was completely wrong and didn't listen to me. Every singe visit for 12 years I kept telling him I was cold, tired and depressed. I feel terrible that he is treating other patients the same way. Have any of you had any luck with

this? Are there any sample letters out there? I really feel like we need to talk back to help others behind us and turn this massive travesty around. I thought I'd reference Dr. Holfort and Dr. Lowe.All ideas are welcome :-).Debra in CA------------------------------------
