Guest guest
I started having intense abdominal pain from the middle under the ribcage to the left. I would get it once a week or so for like 6 months. After the third time getting it, i woke up with the worse pains and called ambulance. they did cat scan, liver enzymes, sonogram and all normal. they gave me morphine and the pain still would not go away. it felt like waves of pain at times, almost like contractions. i started getting these right after starting cytomel. but then i stopped the cytomel for 2 weeks and still had the pain so i figured it couldn't be that. the doctor put me on probiotics and PPI med and I was told to wear loose fitting clothes. it persisted. then i went for endoscope and they found esophagitis and put on stronger PPI, but pains still kept coming two months more even while on that strong PPI. no diarrhea or constipation. i kept saying to the doctors it doesn't feel like esophagitis, more like muscle or something. then i got a cortisone injection after another episode but a week later i was doubled over again. Worse pains of my life, hard to explain. then it just stopped. however, around the time it stopped my FT3 level was going up and I also upped my Cortef to 25mg for 2 weeks too. when i tested my FT3 a few weeks after not having episode it was over my labs range. i'm wondering if I was just suffering some type of low thyroid low adrenal problem since i was maybe on too low a dose of thyroid and HC? or it could be a menopause symptom that was bothering me and now its gone for now. i sure hope it doesn't come back, b/c it would hit at the most worst times like driving long distance in my car, just awful maybe it's thyroid/adrenal? not sure. but it hasn't come back in 8 weeks and in that time my temps are more closer to normal and my T3 came back high. > > This morning my stomach was extra bloated. It's really sticking straight out. It looks so bad. > I also got a bad pain in my stomach yesterday, and it's still there today! Went to the GP, he said it was not my appendix. And my urine had no blood in it. My white blood cell count is normal. So there should be no infection in me. Does anyone know what this can be? Related to HC or anything? It also feels like I need to pee longer and more than normal, plus I have some pain in my left side of the back when I inhale. GP had no clue. > Also upped to 35 mcg T3 today, up from 30 mcg. Went fine so far. When can I notice the mcg changes? > > >
