Guest guest
I beg to differ.I think many of them simply have not had it tsted yet. There is almost 1000 members of this group so it certainly is NOT something weird. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Hi I disagree with that statement. Alot of people have it and do not get tested. People are desperate so they find the stop the thyroid Madness site or book. They are happy because they can get of syncrap. They feel good at the start of dessicated thyroid. They fix there ferritin and hc. Some symptoms come back they blame on there adrenals. Not thinking that it might be a reverse t3 problem. In the book there is only one page devoted to reverse t3. So you kind of skip over it. Since starting on this journey in august last year. I have managed to get 20 different people some taking syncrap, some taking no meds but all with thyroid problems tested. I always make sure that that get their reverse t3 tested. Not of them has a good ratio. Sky To: RT3_T3 Sent: Fri, 12 February, 2010 11:47:43 AMSubject: Re: Can you ever get off the t3/t4 - t3 only cycle? I suspect there might be a genetic thing going on, because lots of people have weird cortisone or ferritin levels or stress and they DON'T get RT3 problems. I wonder if some are just predisposed to get it under those conditions. Like we are just too sensitive to things.Liz>>

It may be differnt for others though. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Yes I do. Especially if it has taken years to get treatment. Interesting to know.Do you think if someone doesn't respond to synthroid at all then they likely have an RT3 problem (maybe a latent one?)Liz
Guest guest
/ htink it is very likely try ing to feel well on Synthroid is a cause of RT3. It is an incomplete thyroid medicine. We NEED T3 direct. SO while people on T4 meds may nto feel trashed they tend ot push the dose up and up and thne end up woiht a high T4 and still feel badly, so the RT3 thna is a means of the body lowering a too high T4 in spite of us still being hypo from lack of T3./ -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
