Guest guest
Not a good week. My sister has had to put down her 3 year-old St Bernard dog, and the house they were buying fell through. On our side, the 4 week building of our extension is now 9 weeks and counting. The builders have let us down and now we will be moving home (we have been camping at my Mum's empty house 18 mils from home and 24 away from school for the last 6 weeks), when the house isn't ready as the travelling is killing us all. DS1 has started to cry in school at anything as he is so tired and the boy who was bullying him has continued to do so for the last few weeks. I know as he is tired that he is very sensitive but he is saying this boy is deliberately running into him and knocking him over at every break-time. I spoke to his teacher today, she will have another word with this other lad. I have very irrational feelings of wanting to explain in no uncertain terms to this 7 year old what he is doing to my boy. I know this is not a good idea but when I see him skipping out of school, I really want to do something ......... The extension is built but the roof isn't finished, there is a loft hatch in our room that has no cover, there is no radiator in the room, no skirting board and apparently we can't put the carpet sown until the skirting board is in, which means we can't move stuff in, so we can't sort out our old room for the boys, etc, ahhhhhh. It is really getting to me, as we seem to have had the most unreliable builders who just don't turn up when you are expecting them too and it is driving me nuts. So, now we will start moving in at the weekend as I can't cope living like this anymore. We are sleeping on the floor on mattresses but my back is killing me and the baby boys are spending all day in the car to take the others to school and nursery and so on The good news it that my newsletter is done and gone (thanks everyone). I feel better for getting this off my chest, thanks SAHM 6, Olivia 3, 2, 15/3/00 Editor Wallingford and District
