tee hee hee hee hee (cue hysterical laughter).

I just love sites that don't work properly. the site says the pattern for

the small and tiny clangers have been removed. Well guess what, a bit of

digging and I came up with this on the same site: Knit at your peril.

Sue

Knitting Pattern for Small and Tiny Clanger

Height (approximately)

Small Clanger 21 cm (8M) in

Tiny Clanger 27 cm (10 1/2) in

Materials

1 100g ball of Peregrene 100% Coutelle DK (machine washable) or Gosling Baby

DK 100% Courtelle (machine washable) or 2 50g balls of Snow Goose DK (pure

new

wool) (hand wash only) in pink will be sufficient for both Clangers.

A pair each of 2 3/4mm (U.K.12) knitting needles.

Black felt for the feet.

Pink felt for the hands, nose and ears.

Desired colour for felt tunics, hair and bow.

Sewing thread to match felt colours.

Good quality stuffing.

Card or plastic sheet for feet.

Metallic thread or yarn for embroidery.

Tension

28 sts and 37 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 2 3/4mm needles,

before stuffing.

It is essential to obtain correct tension in yarn used and a small test piece

should be worked. If piece measures more than the required width, try again

using smaller

needles, If piece measures less than the required width, try again using

larger needles.

Our Price record shops had these in a few weeks ago. Worth a try, Sue and

anyone who is looking. My DH will have one in his stocking cos they are his

favourite ever tv programme characters.

Lesley - hoping for Robbie in her stocking, well a girl can

dream!
