Guest guest
I would continue LOW dose iron, maye 27mg or o just to be certain it is not going to fall off agian. How is oyur pulse? If your pulse is not high ther eis no reason to not raise the T3 more. Why do you feel you may have low cortisol? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Hi Val Sometimes my pulse gets to 84. Right now it's 78. I'm going up to 100 mcg! My temps were getting close to stable in the fall at 97.7 when I was on 35 mg HC. Then I got food poisoning in December and despite stress-dosing (apparently not enough) my temps were unstable until I went to 42.5 about one month ago then they've mostly settled in at around 98. I often have internal shaking, mild dizziness, light-headedness and/or fatigue which I assume is low cort. 42.5 seems like a ridiculously high amount based on what other women seem to need, but I also burn through 2400 calories a day w/o gaining weight. I am taking 35 mg of Glade HC and using 7.5 in cream. I've tried Betaine and a small dose gave me a burning stomach and irritation. Guest guest
OK sounds liek a T3 raise is in order. Weight gain is nto a good measure of cortiosl btu the fact you are not gaining tells me it is probabyl not too high and possibly Glades ais as weak as I have heard as many do not seem to do well on it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Thanks, Val. I'm increasing Cynomel to 100 today. The pharmacy wants to switch me from Glades to Major brand HC, which I haven't tried yet. What does my T4 reading of .20 indicate? Am I still producing my own T4 and possibly converting to RT3? Is .20 too high still? Heidi > > OK sounds liek a T3 raise is in order. Guest guest
I think there is a bottom that can be reached even with full suppression with T3. I never got mine below .26 so I think you are fine there. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Thanks. When I try the Major brand HC I will let you know how strong it is. I'm hoping it can't be any weaker than Glade.
