Guest guest
Then I might try doing that sometime in the next few days!Val, do you know why my "jumpy/restless" legs start aain now at 1:30 am? Looking at my latest electrolytes, high calcium is the only thing, as well as high magnesium, which is off-range. Potassium is at 4.3 which is not too high. Maybe the banana I ate today brought it over the top? I have no idea what's going on with my muscles! It is quite safe to take more T3. Guest guest
High potassium wil lnot happen fro a banana. And it is unlikly to cause this anyway but the calcium could be. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
There may be more to it than this but, there is phenomenon called, " compensation " that sometimes occurs, often within one day, of an upward change of dosage. It is a recurrence of symptoms as the rT3 sort of bounces back. Keep taking the new dosage and see if you rebound. In the longer run, when you reach the level that is therapeutic for you, you will no longer compensate. See Nick's description of when you hit that 'sweet spot' Lee > > My temp is 37.0 C (98.6 F) and my pulse is getting lower after 1 week on 35 mcg T3. Pulse is now 68. It was 84 yesterday tho. 72 earlier today. Anyway, I think I might be ready for the raise. However, should I wait with raising T3 til I take a new FT3 blood sample? Just to be sure nothing is pooling? > >
Guest guest
Thanks, Lee! I've heard about this! It's all very interesting, and scary at the same time! I haven't upped my dose yet. Still on 35 mcg T3, This is day 8 on my 35 mcg T3 dose. It's hard to tell with my chronically infected tonsils, sinus infections and all, but I think this means I need mroe T3!
