I'm currently taking 3 1/2 gr. Naturethroid. My last rt3 ratio was 16.8 in May 09. I'm going in for another RT3/ft3 work up Monday but I know it's an RT3 issue. I dose up and my temps go up but suddenly dump down into the 95 - 97's so not getting into cells. Taking 25 mg HC too.

So, at 3 1/2 gr. NT what doses of T3 should I ask the doc to put me on and suggestions of how to ramp up/take T3 would be appreciated.

thanks,

Kem in Eugene

Thanks Sky, no I haven't had to take LDN for over a month now. Fibro was taken care of with LDN but when I raised my naturethroid up to 3 1/2 gr. the symptoms totally disappeared so figured if it ain't broke don't fix it;-) Took LDN for almost 8 months.<<Posted by: "SKY JONES" subhadradasi2000@... subhadradasi2000Wed Feb 10, 2010 1:44 pm (PST)HiThis is the information you needhttp://thyroid-rt3.com/starting1.htmAre you on ldn?Sky>> Kem in Eugene <º)))><

If you are, in fact, suffering from rT3 dominance/preponderance, you do not want

to keep taking anything with T4 in it, natural or otherwise because, you will

continue to convert the T4 o rT3 if you do and this will slow down or defeat the

purpose of the T3 approach advocated here. Because T4 converts to T3 anyway,

just stopping the T4 med and starting on T3 won't be complicated. Nick and VAl

will doubtless comment too. My view would be to start with a daily dose slightly

below what's in the NTH or whatever you're taking.
