Should I go higher with cytomel?

My ferritin was 44(22-322) and I have been on 250 iron mg a day for about 10

days. I got my first IV yesterday. Avg daily temps are 98.5-98.8 on 32.5 HC a

day. I have slowly increased my cytomel, to account for the loss of T4

conversion after switching from 1 1/4 grain NT. I converted at 2.5/2.5/2.5/2.5

and now am doing 5/5/5/5 and took 5 at bedtime last night. Today I experimented

trying 6.25 for the first two doses and no big surprises. I did get up this

morning feeling pretty good after a better night of sleep and then have lost

energy all day. There may be a little of being on edge with the 6.25 but it has

not persisted. Just real tired and foggy, ears ringing.

I was thinking that I should try to push my T3 dosing higher to hold on the IV

iron and drive down the RT3, but wonder how I know what is enough T3. My basal

temps are still 97.5 or so but throughout the day I usually am around 98.6

pretty often. My BP may have gone up a few points since increasing the HC from

22.5 to 32.5 but still normal and increases from laying down to standing. My

pulse is still 60 or even lower when lying in bed, about 70 while typing this.

I think I must still be hypo but wonder why my temps don't tend to show it. I

have even seen 98.9 sometimes!!.

I am getting an IV again next week. Any suggestions on my T3 dosing? THANK

YOU!!!

Steve

SOmetimes HC will lower aldosterone and that can falsely raise temps but

your pulse is showing quite hypo so I woudl not be afraid to raise the

T3 SOmewhere in between those incr3eases you might try lwoering cortils

a bit to see if oyu have gotten reserves and need a bit less now.
