Guest guest
>Hi Nick. Yes, I had taken T3 the morning of the blood draw. Was I supposed to skip it? Yes http://thyroid-rt3.com/stopping.htm You get a massive spike, the read reading will be nearer 5 if you only took the dose the day before and hence a perfectly good place to be in while waiting for resistance to clear, > >And my Ferritin really is 676. It was over 300 a few months ago, and seems to be getting higher. I'm a little concerned about that and am going to talk to my doctor to find out what could cause that. Yes, if you are supplementing iron then stop. A full iron panel would be beneficial and post the results for Val.. Have you any inflammation going on in your body?? > >I think I've been taking too much T3. My pulse has been over 100 resting, and if I walk around or move quickly, it feels like I'm exercising hard. I skipped the T3 all day yesterday and by this morning my pulse was down to 84. I am going to take 50mcg today and see how that feels. I'll raise if I start to feel hypo. Seems a plan > >I'm also going to lower the HC to 20mg and see if I need it at all anymore. I'd like to get off it entirely. OK >I thought the high pulse might have been related to potassium but that seems to be normal. But if I skipped T3 and the pulse came down, wouldn't that tell me it was the cause? Possibly, the fact you felt OK skipping it's a clue as well! > Nick
