increased temps due to sufficient t3 or adrenaline (or other)?

Nick, I've been utilizing your tip on checking temps prior to taking t3 and a

half hour and an hour after taking t3. For the most part my temps either stay

stable or increase. Only once did it decrease by .1, so that's not bad.

Here's a pattern I'm finding:

I check temps before taking t3. An hour or two later my temps are two points

higher. For example, took temps at 9:30 a.m. today, it was 97.0. An hour later

it was 98.1. At 12 noon it was 99.0. Isn't 99.0 a tad too high?

does it mean I am taking too much t3? My resting pulse at the time was 81, which

is good. (then standing up it was 116) Actually, i did the blood pressure thing:

sitting was 108 over 69, and pulse of 81. Immediately thereafter I did standing

bp and it was 111 over 82 with a pulse of 116.

I am dosing 65 hc a day (doc is ok with it)

And 45 mcg t3 a day; today is day 7 of 45 mcg t3 and not sure whether it's too

soon to increase to 50 mcg. tomorrow. I am thyroidless so will need a

considerable amount higher than 45, I suppose.

What are your thoughts on the increased temps; do you think it's a simple matter

of t3 getting into my cells? or could it be adrenaline?

btw, my basal pulse is a steady 72 and basal temps are around 97.9 (but I'm

close to menstruating so that might explain the increase from my typical 97.6 or

97.7)

I'm dosing t3: 12.5, 12.5, 12.5, 7.5(bedtime) and need to take sleep aid to fall

asleep as the 7.5 does waken me a tad. would it be ok to stick it in sometime by

day so that I avoid a nighttime t3 dose, or jsut wait it out and see if things

stabilize?

I know I've asked a lot of questions, and appreciate your time and patience in

responding!

Miriam

We are here to try and answer questions and smooth the path as it

were.

The slight rise with T3 sounds just right, there is enough cortisol

there to support the T3.

The invividual temps that are over are OK as long as the " 3 times a

day average " (to the timings in the instructions) is 98.6 in the first

half of your cycle and a little over in the second half,

Nick
