Guest guest
ok. Still take the 2.5mcg at night before I go to bed? and then gradually increase that to the 6.25mcg? > > You would probably be fine with 3- 6.25 mcg dosee to start with, > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
>So, I would increase my 2.5mcg to 5pm? > >Also, I am running low on my CyTomel.. probably have enough for 2 more days... I have the Cynomel but those are 25mcg. If I split in half that is 12.5mcg and if I split the half in half AGAIN, that is 6.25mcg. >If I start taking the 6.25mcg in place of the 5mcg, will that cause a problem? AAUUGGH. Are you going up 2.5 a time due to problems with bigger increases?? If you took a quarter 3 times a day that would be 19 or so which is not an unreasonable increase from the 15 you are on at the moment. Maybe this is the time to go to the Cynomel, take a quarter tablet 3 times a day to start with and then a few days later add your 4th dose back in of another quarter making 25 a day, Each time you increase make sure that pulse and temperature are OK first and that you are ready for the increase Keep those few CyTomel in case a few smaller increases are needed at some stage. Is it Branded or generic?? The Grossman CyNomel is stronger than the US generics by all accounts Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
Nick- At my last check in November/December, my ferritin was 25. I have been taking 189mg of iron daily since December so I was doing slow increments of T3. I haven't tried 'big' increases... 2.5mcg at a time... I watch my temps/pulse... I take the T3 with my isocort (4xs per day) and I had included the 2.5mcg at 9pm before I go to bed as I was tired in the morning... I have been taking the brand name Cytomel and recently got the Cynomel- just haven't opened the bottle. > > >So, I would increase my 2.5mcg to 5pm? > > > >Also, I am running low on my CyTomel.. probably have enough for 2 more days...
