Guest guest
this may have been asked before so i apologize...does the number we see for ft3 include the amount of rt3?? i ask this because my daughters ft3 is showing "high" ...yet she still has hypo symptoms...and yes her rt3 is also elevated but in range and doctor is not familiar with the ratio of the 2....so since she is high in ft3 she is saying she does not need t3 since it is already high...we have gotten her ferritin up nicely and her b12 and her cortisol is being addressed with calm prt since it was a bit high in the mornings....i am trying to get doc to prescribe t3 to clear her rt3....which i am hoping developed due to low ferritin and b12....so i guess if the t3 value somehow reflects rt3 then i will have a better arguement....thanks
