Guest guest
We're using UltraBright. It was recommended by our dieticians. It tastes fine to me, and my son, who never liked to use toothpaste before has no problems with this one. > Has anyone found a toothpaste that tastes good? Guest guest
We've been using Toms of Maine Silly Strawberry flavour and Francesca's totally cool with it. She absolutely hated the baking soda ones we were recommended. There's also a mandarin flavour one by another manufacturer that's available in the UK which has been OK'd by our keto team. I'll dig it out if you're interested. , Mum to Francesca, 18 days till drug free... > Has anyone found a toothpaste that tastes good? Guest guest
Hi Dana. I have a daughter who just turned 4, and I haven't found an SCD- legal toothpaste out there - they all have SOMETHING in them. If your child knows how to spit out the toothpaste, you can probably use anything. But mine doesn't spit it out - she actually loves the taste and likes to " eat " it off of the toothbrush. So we don't use anything at all right now. She brushes with water. I figure in another year or so, she'll either be ready to spit it out (or maybe will be able to tolerate whatever's in it), and then I'll use Tom's of Maine or something similar. mom to ASD daughter, 4, SCD 8 weeks > > What do I use with a 4 yo? > > Dana

Guest guest
Hi , > Does anyone know of an SCD legal toothpaste for a child or more than one? On our old list many decided to use either water and a toothbrush (my dentist says the brushing is more important than the paste) or a little baking soda until the child woyuld spit out the paste instead of swallowing. You can try a little and see how they are tolerated and if there is any changes. Sheila, SCD 48 mos, 20 yrs UC mom of , SCD 33 mos
