Guest guest
Hi, Joyce: By thrush, do you mean yeast? If so, I have had very persistent yeast infections that are generally unresponsive to our over-the-counter meds (Monistat and Gyne-lotrimin). I generally need a prescription cream for the yeast infections (can't recall the name, although the antibiotics post-myo have given me a raging yeast infection and I need to get a new prescription). I don't know if it's a function of fibroids, but when I had my myomectomy my doctor also found moderate endometriosis. My reading on endometriosis shows that frequent, persistent yeast infections often accompany endometriosis. Hope this helps, Kisha > > > Initially went to the doctor with thrush/cystitis like symptoms which I have > been unable to get cleared up. Am going to see a specialist about this in a > fortnight. Has anyone else had this problem?
