Guest guest
I always get higher reverse T3 when I add in any amount of T4. I try to raise my natural thyroid but I feel stimulated but my blood tests show lower free T3 and low total T3. Should I back down on my natural and use only T3 as my treatment? I think it might be low cortisol causing the reverse T3 but I dont know if I should take 1/2 grain with added T3 or keep trying to up my Nature throid risking higher reverse T3. The thing is when Natural thyroid does work I feel good and better then with any synthetics. I have type 1 diabetes also so that might be why I have a higher reverse T3. I have to make a choice here. Should I support my adrenals and keep trying to raise my natural or should I add in T3 only with a little bit of natural? Any one have advice or experience with this?
