Guest guest
Hi Val, Do you consider 57 for Ferritin low and in need of taking an iron supplement? If so, what name brand Ferritin do you recommend for someone who has extremely CHRONIC (10+ yrs) constipation? Thank you!!

Take vitamin C at the same time as the iron, it helps to absorb it. Getting enough thyroid into you will help the constipation, that's a hypo symptom. I can normally tell whether my dose is right by that one alone. Nick

Guest guest
Magnesium also works well to relieve constipation. I've taken 1300 mg daily since the beginning of my treatment based on my doc's recommendations. Take it right before bed, It also will help your muscles relax so you can sleep better. Guest guest
, What kind of magnesium do you take. Do you any side effects; bloating, etc.? I wasn't able to tolerate a brand recommended by my doctor. I am currently taking a liquid mixed with calcium. I don't like that they are combined, but like the liquids best. Thanks, Rhonda Re: What to take for low Ferritin??To: RT3_T3 Date: Thursday, February 18, 2010, 10:21 PM Thanks so much Nick and Val!!> > >Do you consider 57 for Ferritin low and in need of taking an iron supplement?> > That is a bit low yes> >> >If so, what name brand Ferritin do you recommend for someone who has extremely CHRONIC (10+ yrs) constipation?> > The Blue Bonnet seems to have a good reputation.
