Guest guest
>I am currently at 160 mcg of cytomel (generic) and Rhodiola Rosea to support my adrenals. My MD is wondering if I am taking too much cytomel based on my low t-4 levels. My Rt-3 test is not back yet. The whole idea of taking 3 only is to reduce T4 levels to as near zero as they will go!! Guest guest
Thanks for your prompt answer. Tell me if I understand this corretly. Once the RT-3 clears and I lower my T-3 dose, my thyroid should still funtion and make T3 and T4 (T1 and T2 also) but I will most likely still have to take some T3 everyday to feel my best? My Dr. is worried about me losing the function of my thyroid. If my RT-3 comes back with a good ratio, can I assume it has cleared and lower my dose of t-3? I am concerned that I won't know whether it has cleared or not- if I am supposed to feel it? I think some people go on Armour or the equivalent after they cleared their RT3, which did nothing for me at 5 grains a day. I don't think it would work for me. Is this a goal? thank you for your help. > > >I am currently at 160 mcg of cytomel (generic) and Rhodiola Rosea to support my adrenals. Guest guest
DO you have Hashi's? If so you WANT your thyroid fully supressed. Most of us DO have aHashi's but if yours has not been confirmed, ,aybe yuneed ot have antibopdies tested -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I have never been tested for Hashi's but will do so. So today, for the first time (on 160 mcg t-3), my blood pressure rose 147/94 and my pulse has been 97. Normally it is at 72. But my temps are still 97.4 or so. Because I felt anxiety, I have only taken my first AM dose 40Mcgs. I am thinking maybe I have cleared, except for the temp. I have been at this since Dec. My blood test results of this week revealed: TSH .010 (.40-4.5) T4 1.3 (4.5-12.0) T3 187 (71-180) Ferritin 84 I was planning to follow the protocal on the website, when your pulse goes down, take 1/2 a dose. Any thoughts? My temp is confusing, but I definately feel different today. Thanks! > > DO you have Hashi's? If so you WANT your thyroid fully supressed. Guest guest
TSH .010 (.40-4.5) T4 1.3 (4.5-12.0) T3 187 (71-180) Ferritin 84 No FT3? This does sound promising as the beginning of the T3 breaking through the resistance. Maybe holding steady is what oyu shoud be doing now unless your pouslse goes too high thne oyu shoudl lower a bit. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
