Guest guest
Super Duper Job Joya. That does it I am putting on my pedometer right now. I have been walking 2 miles at night, but today I will walk in the morning and try to hit 3 or more. You time is good. Many people in my neighborhood walk... or should i say saunter?? I wiz by all. . . . Makes me feel like an athlete and not a old fogey. I read in the paper yesterday about one of our elementary schools donating to an agency in Honduras that assists people. This made me feel really good. J love, di

I went out for 2 miles about dark and used 6400 steps (actual count). Your pen pal in WV LOL, Rivhard.....no my steps are ALL the steps I took in a day, including mopping, sweeping, laundry, cooking and all that fun stuff! Course like you say, most of them only THINK they are out there exercising so I hope I am giving them some incentive to speed it up! One guy that I used to walk with when we would meet up now has started speed walking and I am afraid he is one person I can't keep up with...grrrrr....so now I am trying my hand at jogging a bit. I did a whole block yesterday!!! Joya
Guest guest
Norma, about the keto stick,I keep an old coffee cup in my bathroom and use that to tinkle in and then dip the stick in that,it's to contorted for me to try to 'hit' the stick dead aim with the stream! I know what you mean about the woe just doesn't work like it did at that magic time when everyday showed another lb. gone and 19/20 lbs literally melted off~I don't know the secret as to why it never seems to happen again but I've seen it written as happening to otherss on all the lists I'm on that this happens alot, that is one of the reasons I just don't say the hell with it when months go by and I never lose anymore cuz I feel like if nothing else I am holding it at a size I can live withand that is a first in itself~ all I can say is hope for the best and strive to reach a spot where you will look good and just try to 'hold' it there and not try to get down to as small as you were as much as that hurts~I still have 20lbs to go but I'm begining to feel it won't happen so now I remind myself at how much improvement there is in my body, like being able to cross my legs while sitting~also something I noticed yesterday, I could cross my arms under my bust while standing and talking and my midrift not being bigger than my bust~my fingers crossed for all of us losers ALICE >*;*<
Guest guest
Dearest Alice, Don't get discouraged dear child. My fighting weight, when I was a young woman was 135 lbs at 5'7 " . My married weight for many years was 155 lbs at 5'7 " . my weight now is 237 lbs. at 5'6 " . My desired weight is 170 because I know I will never hit that 135 or even 155 again because of age and childbearing BUT~~~~~~~~ Think of how good you're feeling. Think of how good you look in your clothes and even if the weight comes off 1/2 lb a month, its a lot better than going back to the old way and feeling poorly and getting clumsy again. I have been playing with the same 15 lbs for 2 yrs now and am sick of it. I can appreciate how hard you have worked to get where you are. I really admire you and the others for what you all have accomplished and hope to join you within the next year. BTW I have made friends with a lady who is 7 yrs younger than me. She has a beautiful head of hair but is much too thin. She is looking for a husband and is thinking of moving to Fresno which is 30 mins. north of me. She dresses like a teenager, crop tops and sleeveless tank tops, shorts, etc., but is wrinkle city, especially her arms and face. I feel bad for her because she thinks she looks so cool and slathers on the makeup, but I would rather be kinda plump than too thin. Of course being too fat, as I am, I don't have a body I care to show off right now, but you guys inspire me. So keep up the good work sweetie, and appreciate what you have. Love Mom Pudge, the " things are looking brighter " one pudge@...
