Guest guest
I was wondering why I don't feel any differently after taking T3 or using HC cream. It seems a lot of people really notice feeling better. The only time I have felt anything was when my RT3 cleared and I got a much faster heart rate. My mood has not improved much and I still have a hard time getting up in the morning. I'm on 100 mcg of T3, and my saliva test indicated low in the morning and high at 5 pm, then back down to high normal at night. So I am using cortisone cream in the morning and at noon (10 mg and 7.5 mg). I don't need PS anymore in the evening to lower cortisol so I know that is getting better. My average temps are steady since I switched from Isocort to HC cream, at 98.0 avg. Heart rate averages 82 and stays constant too. It's been almost a month since RT3 cleared. Is there anything else I can check to see why I still don't feel as well as I'd like? Thanks, H

Guest guest
have you done thyroid labs? Maybe you stil need mroe T3, I certainly an stil hypo at 100mcg. But not everyone wil be anbd you could be a tad too hgih so labs would help sort that out. Also is your iron good? Guest guest
I haven't done labs since I've been on T3. I could be on too high a dose and feel tired? My temps are averaging 98.0 or less, so I assumed I wasn't on too much. My ferritin was 148 when I checked it in June 09. Symptoms are having trouble getting going in the morning, lingering depression, not much motivation, joint aches and pains (stiffness mostly). The thing that concerns me is my heart rate. I'm afraid if I raise T3 it will be too high! > > have you done thyroid labs? Maybe you stil need mroe T3, I > certainly an stil hypo at 100mcg. Guest guest
Nick I am taking 25 mcg 4 times a day. I missed one of my doses this weekend and had heart palps as a result. My temperature stays almost the same throughout the day right now, averaging 98.0. > > > It's been almost a month since RT3 cleared. Guest guest
What is youre pulse now? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
82 right now, and usually remains the same throughout the day. I have noticed I am needing more HC cream recently, in the evening. My heart will start pounding, and when I put a little cream on it stops within 15 minutes. So now I'm doing the cream 3 times a day most days: 10 mg waking, 7.5 mg noon, 5 mg evening (8 or 9 pm). T3 I dose evenly 25 mcg 4 times a day with last dose at bedtime. > > What is youre pulse now? > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
82 is not a bad pulse. Worry abotu it if it happens! Honestly most of us are NOT athletes nor in good physoical condition which woudl keep our pulse down in the 70's. Add to that middle age, whiic I certinly am (maybe beyond just a bit) and 90 is a good pulse for me and I do nto worry until it starts staying over 100. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Yea I'm 52 and not an athlete, although I have been weight training for 5 years. But I don't do much cardio cause I've never had the energy. I'm thinking maybe I need to have my sex hormones checked. I'm still having periods but they're irregular. Thanks . I will try a small raise and see if it helps. > > 82 is not a bad pulse. Worry abotu it if it happens!
