Guest guest
First of all, I had a low ferritin reading in December= 25. I have been supplementing 189mg-216mg of chelated iron since December. I have RT3 and still supplementing with my T3/T4 synthetic caps until I re-test for my ferritin. I am taking total T3 (cynomel & cyTomel) 36.25mg plus the 9mcg in the T3/T4 combo (45.25mcg T3 total). Taking 12.5mcg,11.25mcg,6.25mcg, 6.25mcg. I take Isocort (5,3,2,1) with the T3- been stress dosing due to heaviness in chest area- per Val, because I am on my period my aldosterone is possibly low or potassium so I have been supplementing with sea salt- the heaviness is going away. Average temperatures are normal: 98.6/98.9 I have been so tired in the mornings and in the afternoon... I just increased my afternoon dose by the 5mcg.... How do I know if this is low cortisol or I need to increase T3? Also, am I not increasing enough at one time? I increase 5mcg each time- stay for 3 days and increase again... HELP.
