Guest guest
My ferritin level was 63. I tried the Blue Bonnet brand and can't tolerate it. I tried the FerroFood from Standard Process and can tolerate it but only at 10mg. I had some Thorne brand Iron Picolinate which is 25mg a pill. Tried it yesterday and no issues. I think I found something here. Then I looked on the Internet and read this iron is highly absorable and rarely causes gut distress. How much of this iron should I take? Then I found where you can buy this kind of iron as a lozenge if you want to bypass the gut. I have not tried it this way. http://www.custommedicine.com.au/shop/iron-40mg-lozenge-p-359.html This is where I read about the Iron Picolinate and ferritin levels. http://www.custommedicine.com.au/blog/2009/12/14/iron-supplements/
