At first the doctor used to throw out sed #'s and after yrs I'd gotten tired of " well your sed rate is down, you SHOULD feel better. Well I don't. Well maybe you should try losing weight. huh? Excuuusse me but buddy I don't walk on my fingers and they still bleepun hurt. Told you I'm bitter.but working on it. After 16yrs of marriage 2mo after being diagnosed he said see ya.My hous is the messiest of all.You have to let go,it hurts when you see a recipe you used to love preparing. Now just watching the bleeping tv thatHumira commercial that says " What are you gonna do wait until you can't turn on the light? " Does it work or are they just insulting guines pigs again.don't hate me
Guest guest
Unfortunately some doctors treat more by blood work than by symptoms. If my doctor were like that they would no longer be my doctor. Once damage happens it is irreversible so that is why people stress early and aggressive treatment for RA. It sounds like you have not been treated well enough with an effective DMARD (Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drug) so you have joint damage. It's too late to reverse that but you should be treated to see that further joint damage is slowed or stopped. I strongly recommend seeing a different rheumatologist even if you have to travel to see one. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: idiotbeeboogers Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 1:48 PM Subject: lightswitch commercial well here goes. Guest guest
LOL. Hi, hun. What do you want us to call you? It’s ok to be bitter and I don’t think anyone here will hate you because of it. Sounds like your rheumy is pretty lazy. Are you doing anything for pain management? Sometimes the regular options don’t work, but there are other things out there. The reason I ask, is because it’s nearly impossible to live something other than RA when the pain is so dominant you can barely think. It’s good you came here. This is a good place to learn, vent and just chat. Love, peace, and a whole season of good days to you yellow -----Original Message----- From: idiotbeeboogers [mailto:idiotbeeboogers@...] Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 4:48 PM To: Rheumatoid Arthritis Subject: lightswitch commercial well here goes. Guest guest
The way they keep taking the meds of the market I feel we may be guinnea pigs LOL. We are not mad at you for being bitter. We are some the bitterest people here because we all have to deal with a horrible disease. I think one of my most bitter fellings is when people think we should not complain about all the pain because we should be used to it. Also we take so many meds we shouldn't feel any pain. Those are the people I would just like to take one of their fingers and put it in a vice and tighten it and remind them in 15 minutes it should not hurt because they are getting used to it. See now you shouldn't feel too bad. We all have those feelings and here is the place to vent them and no one will get mad at you because we understand. Rue --- Zoom <zoom@...> wrote: > > > LOL.
