Guest guest
High cortisolk does not agree with T3 btu it will not agrewe with Natiural thyroid either it cause ti to be rushed into the cells too fats ans oyu have up and downs all day. LKow ferritin causes many of your symotms too. On that dose of HC you WILL make Rt3 again if oyu return to natural thyroid, it is guaranteed ot not work. Low ferritin also guarantees it. I hate to see oyu set yourself up for failure when you just need ot reduce the HC and raise the ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Thanks, Val. I've never tried desicated thyroid, I had only tried syncrap and company. I've been off synthroid since mid November and slowly been increasing t3. I still haven't figured out how to increase ferritin Iron supplements are not doing it for me and waiting to find a doc to do an IV drip. I'm confused as to my iron panel labs. They look good to me; and my hematocrit went up as well (since Dec. 24); yet ferritin continues to remain low. > > High cortisolk does not agree with T3 btu it will not agrewe with > Natiural thyroid either it cause ti to be rushed into the cells too fats > ans oyu have up and downs all day. Guest guest
Have you considered that the high EBV and other bacterial and viral infections are the reason you need such high doese of HC? This happened to me last year and I have had to start all over again, but I was not comfortable taking doses of 70 HC in order to tolerate t3. Now that I've addressed and am still working on the viral load, I need MUCH less HC and am slowly going back up on t3. Just a thought. I know Val has expressed concern over your HC dose and you are saying things that sound like high cortisol symptoms. I know it's hard when you need so much HC and it does make you feel better; I've been there! I'm not bothered by the weight gain, as long as I 'feel better'. > > Also, checking temps before a t3 dose and after a t3 dose, when I cut back on my hc my temps dipped considerably after a t3 dose. Now that I am back on higher dose hc my temps remain the same and at times increase. I hated when on lower dose hc my temps dipped after a t3 dose. > > Could my increased sodium be due to high hc levels? > > I ned to get my free t3 up and tsh down, (I'm thyroidless, post-cancer) but am extremely sensitive to the cytomel. > > > > sodium; 144 (135-145) am I drinking too much salt-water? > potassium, serum 3.8 (3.5-5.2) have not been taking my potassium > > protein, serium 6.6 (6.0-8.5) why's this dipping? > albumin, 4.2 (3.5-5.5) > globulin total 2.4 (1.5-4.5) > alkaline phosphatase 40 (finally these numbers are coming up a tad) > > AST 16 > ALT 21 (a month ago these numbers were 65 and 70 and we thought it was due to > the cortef or hypothyroid, remember?) > > cholesterol total 143 (i'd love to see this higher) > > EBV Ab VCA, IgG 2.7 (flagged as high) > EBV Nuclear Antigen Av, IgG >8.0 (flagged as high) > > Immunoglobulin E, total 17 (0-158) > > CMV Ab, IgG (Cytomegalovirus) 12.2 (flagged as high) > CNV Av, IgM (Cytomegalovirus) <0.9 > > free t4 .06 (flagged as low, but that's because I'm not producing t4, as I am > thyroidless) > > testosterone <3 (flagged as low) > > LDH 118 > > T3 65 (71-180) > > t3, free 2.2 (2.0-4.4) > > TPO 5 (0-34) > > Iron binding cap.
